Responsibilities:
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound calls/emails and leveraging your existing network
- Demonstrate knowledge of Zeplyn and its value proposition to converse with prospect RIAs, Broker Dealers, and Private Wealth Banks
- Develop opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, identify key players and generate interest
- Attend industry events such as conferences, trade shows, and partner meetings as a representative of Zeplyn
- Understand prospect needs and requirements and translate to how Zeplyn solutions solve their objectives
- Educate and nurture early-phase prospects for potential future opportunities
- Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends and identifying sales opportunities
- Record, analyze and report on your weekly activities to identify potential optimizations
- Timely and accurate forecasting of pipeline
- Close sales and achieve assigned quotas
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
- Maintain and improve quality results by following standards and recommending improved policies and procedures
Requirements:
- An entrepreneurial spirit and passion for what you do
- 5-7 years of previous experience in Inside Sales and Account Executive positions with a track record of over-achieving quota and closing 6+ figure deals
- 3+ years experience selling into RIAs, Broker Dealers, and Private Wealth Banks with an existing network to leverage as prospects. Preferable with prior emphasis on the larger firms in these markets.
- Proficient in outbound pipeline creation, prospect research, conducting sales pitches, and/or general business development
- Strong phone presence and experience performing outbound calling
- Strong listening, verbal, written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Proficient with corporate productivity, web presentation tools and CRM solutions
- Be enthusiastic, competitive, disciplined, self-motivated, hands-on with a strong work ethic
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to handle pressure and a high volume of tasks in a result-oriented environment
- BA/BS University degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration
