Job Overview
We are seeking a high achiever, seasoned Account Executive, with at least 5-7 years of experience in selling enterprise software. Prior experience selling into the Wealth Management market will be a big plus. This is a demanding role and we are looking for individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. You will be instrumental in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives, focusing on significant enterprise deals.

This position demands a highly proactive and independent approach. You'll be expected to build and manage a robust pipeline from the ground up, qualify prospects, and navigate intricate sales cycles to close high-value deals. Your success will directly fuel Zeplyn's expansion and market penetration. This role offers a clear, accelerated path to leadership, including the potential to become our Head of Sales.

Responsibilities

• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound calls/emails and leveraging your existing network
• Demonstrate knowledge of Zeplyn and its value proposition to converse with prospect RIAs, Broker Dealers, and Private Wealth Banks
• Develop opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, identify key players and generate interest
• Attend industry events such as conferences, trade shows, and partner meetings as a representative of Zeplyn
• Understand prospect needs and requirements and translate to how Zeplyn solutions solve their objectives
• Educate and nurture early-phase prospects for potential future opportunities
• Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends and identifying sales opportunities
• Record, analyze and report on your weekly activities to identify potential optimizations
• Timely and accurate forecasting of pipeline
• Close sales and achieve assigned quotas
• Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
• Maintain and improve quality results by following standards and recommending improved policies and procedures

Requirements

• An entrepreneurial spirit and passion for what you do
• 5-7 years of previous experience in Account Executive positions selling software with a track record of over-achieving quota and closing 6+ figure deals
• Strong plus: Experience selling into RIAs, Broker Dealers, and Private Wealth Banks with an existing network to leverage as prospects. Preferable with prior emphasis on the larger firms in these markets.
• Proficient in outbound pipeline creation, prospect research, conducting sales pitches, demos, handling tech questions, and/or general business development
• Strong phone presence and experience performing outbound calling
• Strong listening, verbal, written communication and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Proficient with corporate productivity, web presentation tools and CRM solutions
• Be enthusiastic, competitive, disciplined, self-motivated, hands-on with a strong work ethic
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to handle pressure and a high volume of tasks in a result-oriented environment
• BA/BS University degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration
• Authorization to work lawfully in the United States. Note: If hired, a Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, must be completed at the start of employment.

• Work with product owners and CTO to design new user experiences for financial advisors
• Understand the workflows in the financial services industry and figure out bottlenecks we can solve
• Build high fidelity mocks using existing design components or develop new ones
• Rapidly iterate on new versions as we discuss and share designs with trusted partners

Requirements:

• Strong portfolio showcasing an expertise in product design
• Proficiency in Figma (required) and an understanding of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design
• Owner of major product UX for at least 1 year

Nice to have

• Understanding and experience implementing data management systems (CRMs)
• Passion for creating user-centered designs that meet the needs of diverse user groups
